• Lumber for base boards and end walls

• Tip: choose redwood, cedar, or pressure-treated lumber where wood meets moisture

Broiler setup tips

• Add hardware cloth on end walls and a wide poultry door for easy moves

• Use shade cloth in hot months; roll sides up for airflow

• Keep litter dry; consider a predator apron if the coop will sit in one spot
